Grand Slam and Pickerington Central HS Softball are sponsoring an Aspire Higher Softball Clinic for 4th through 8th graders on February 26th and March 5th.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26[SUP]TH[/SUP] OFFENSIVE CLINIC from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
SUNDAY, MARCH 5[SUP]TH[/SUP] DEFENSIVE CLINIC from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
INSTRUCTION:
Offensive skills: hitting, bunting, base running
Defensive skills: throwing, fielding techniques, footwork, position defensive drills
Pitchers will need to bring a person to catch for the pitching portion.
LOCATION: Pickerington Central HS FIELDHOUSE, 300 Opportunity Way, Pickerington, Ohio 43147
INSTRUCTORS:
Pickerington Softball Coach - Carrie Eneix and/or other former college and HS players
Grand Slam Softball Instructors - Karen Linder, 4 time MAC Coach of the Year
Emma Johnson, NPF pitcher for the PA Rebellion, KSU Academic All American
Melissa Rennie Basil, OSU softball alum
COST: $30 for one session; $50 for two sessions for pre-registration. $35 for each date with registration at the door.
BRING: Glove, helmet, and bat, catching gear if a catcher, pitcher needs to bring a person to catch
for them that is not in the camp.
