It's time to gear up for a chance to earn local bragging rights in the annual Fun Fest tournaments. Hosted by Kingsport Parks & Recreation, the One-Pitch Softball and the Outdoor Volleyball tournaments are now accepting team registration for this year’s action-packed events. One-Pitch Softball Tournament * Divisions: Men’s Open Competitive, Men’s Open Recreational, Women’s Open & Coed * Dates: July 14-15 (July 13 if necessary) for Men’s Open Competitive, Men’s Open Recreational, Women’s Open and July 17-18 for Co-Ed * Site: Brickyard Park * Fee: $100/team * Deadline to register: 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 12 * Questions: Call Matthew Elkins at (423) 229-9458 or email matthewelkins@kingsporttn.gov Outdoor Volleyball Tournament * Divisions: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Triples, Co-Ed, Quads * Dates: July 14-15 * Site: Eastman Park at Horse Creek Park * Fee: Men’s Doubles, $30/team; Women’s Triples, $45/team; Co-Ed, $30/team; and Quads $60/team * Deadline to register: 5 p.m., Friday, July 13 * Questions: Jason Wilburn at (423) 229-9459 or email jasonwilburn@kingsporttn.gov Action Athletics is a sponsor of both of events.
