I hear ya both! ;D

Here is the latest on the weather forecast up here in Yankee land (weather.com)

Fri - 76 degrees with 30% rain (partly sunny)
Sat- 78 degrees with 20% rain
Sun - 80 degrees and mostly sunny

I will watch the Toledo news tonight to see what the weather people have to say. These fields take rain very well so there shouldnt be a problem.

If it does rain I`ll take everyone to White Castle, my treat! :D

Like the old saying goes..........just wait 5 minutes it will change. Im going to watch the 6:00 Toledo news tonight again to check the latest.
I was considering on pitching a tent this weekend but if I did that Im sure that would increase the chances of rain!

That weather.com site has lied to me before this year (Tennessee and Columbus tourny) so maybe they have no clue what the heck is going on.

Going by the NBC Toledo affilate newscast they say off and on chance of scattered early in the morning to early afternoon then it all clears out. 40% chance of rain friday and perfect the other two days.

Going by the CBS Toledo affilate newscast they say big storms will roll in late around 6pm and will last til saturday morning. 80% chance of rain.

Who the heck knows. We will just show up and see what happens. Since Toledo has been home to us the past few seasons we know all the good places to hit. It will be great to get back to Toledo for some tournament action. Our dd has been waiting for this weekend since March.
There are 2 other tournaments going on this weekend also. One is at the CYO complex (USFA tourny) and the other at the Lucas County fairgrounds (Preseason Classic). There will be plenty of softball to watch this weekend in the Glass City!

Hey fast2home - if you by chance come across this we would still like to pick up on of those game shields from ya.

Side note....................

If anybody feels the need to contribute the the " Help a Hillbilly gas fund" please feel free to stop on by and say 'hey' and make a small donation in my baseball cap. I will sing either a Conway Twitty or a Alan Jackson song fer ya, I reckin! ?;D ;D ;D

If you look at the radar, it looks like there are some strong storms that are going to go through, it's just a matter of when. With any luck, it will be after games on Friday and Before games on Saturday. Clear skies after that. Good luck to everyone.

AND IF ANYONE HAS BEEN TO THESE FIELDS BEFORE... YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO STEP FOOT ON THEM WHEN IT IS RAINING AND YOU ARE NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO WARM UP THEM.......
LAST YR MY OLDEST PLAYED IN A QUALIFIER AND IT STARTED RAINING AND THEY PULLED THEM THEN SET SIGN ON THE FIELDS TO STAY OFF...... THEY EVEN HAVE PERSONNEL SITTING UP IN THE ANNOUNCERS BOOTH TO YELL AT YOU IF YOU PUT YOUR PINKY TOE ON THE FIELD......
SO IT COULD BE STICKY TONIGHT AND TONORROW MORNING!
