TEAM DESCRIPTION:
The Road Runners 05 team is based out of Zanesville, Ohio and is heading into its third season as a travel softball team with this group of girls. The Road Runners 05 team began as an 8u team in 2014, and finished their first year with a record of 44-2-1, which included eight 1st place finishes and two 2nd place finishes. The Road Runners 05 team played in the 10u division for the 2015 season with mostly 9 year olds, and has a current record of 37-12-1, which includes three 1st place finishes and two 2nd place finishes. The Road Runner Softball Program began in 1992 with one team of 12 year olds and recently has fielded teams in 8u -18u. There are currently 9 teams in the Road Runner Program, and most of the players are from Eastern Ohio.

2016 SCHEDULE/TOURNAMENTS:
Similar to 2015 with plans to replace a few tournaments
2 to 3 Fall Tournaments
1 to 2 Winter Tournaments
10 Summer Tournaments
Practices 2-3 times a month (This includes the winter. We have access to a full indoor softball facility)
Possible Winter League

FEES:
$500.00 for first year players (Includes Helmet, 3 uniforms, & 4 Clinics in September)
$250.00 for all returning players (As long as you stay in the program)
Each player is required to sell $100.00 worth of raffle tickets annually

PLAYERS:
The team consists of girls with a 2005 birthdate from Eastern Ohio
(Players with 2006 birthdates & players from anywhere will be considered)

ROAD RUNNER SOFTBALL ORGANIZATION TRYOUT INFORMATION:
There will be two regular tryouts that will be held and a player may attend either or both of them if they are interested in playing in the Road Runner softball program next summer. There may also be a private tryout date for interested players who are not able to attend the regular scheduled tryout. That will be at the discretion of the coach of the team in which you have an interest. We anticipate having one 8U and 10u teams, and two teams each in 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U.
Saturday, August 8 at I-470 Softball Complex (Lisa's Field & #2) in Wheeling, WV. Use 1 Community Street in Wheeling, WV for your GPS.
8U, 10U, 12U & 14U will be from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. (Pitchers & Catchers remain until 1:30)
16U & 18U will be from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. (Pitchers & Catchers remain until 5:30)
Sunday, August 9 at Perry Softball Complex in Norwich, Ohio. Use 329 Zane Grey Road in Norwich, Ohio for your GPS.
8U, 10U, 12U & 14U will be from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. (Pitchers & Catchers remain until 1:30)
16U & 18U will be from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. (Pitchers & Catchers will remain until 5:30)

Based on the Fall and Winter success you did a nice job of evaluating talent at the Tryouts and an equally good job of training that talent to help them imporove their skills.
