12U Chain Rx beat Ohio Pride in the Championship.
What a weekend to remember! We had a blast with CR.
Rain delay cheer war was something I know our kids will never forget. These two teams have made some friendships over this season that will last a loooooonnnng time.
Best of luck and safe journey to all Ohio teams traveling to post season tourneys.

I want to say congratulations to both the Ohio Pride 12U and the Chain Reaction 12U for their efforts in the final game yesterday. My daughter plays for 12U NCS Spirit and we had a very close game with the Ohio Pride in the Semi-Finals and I felt both teams played very well...it was a good game...again congratulations.
One thing I must say though was that during the semi-final game with Ohio Pride I was disappointed in the Chain Reaction girls who sat on the bleachers next to me....many of the girls were supporting the Pride, which is great to see, but there was some very negative cheering going on against our 12U Spirit team with things being said in the nature of I hate this team and so forth....It is one thing to cheer a team on, but negative comments and negative cheering is uncalled for.

The Northcoast Spirit Organization is a class act - as well as the Ohio Pride there is no question...we won't even open the discussion about coaches - my comment was not meant to be negative to either team - kids are kids, they need to just be reminded that this is friendly competiton as we tell our girls....we have encountered so much negative cheering this year and I am disappointed that more coaches like ours don't reinforce this to their girls.

ncssoftballmom: As a parent of one of the 12u Chain Reaction girls, my apologies to your team for any negative comments that were made by our girls. Like you said, kids will be kids, and sometimes they say things without even realizing what they are saying or how it comes across.
