In D4, New Riegel is the bomb, wow can those girls hit and the CF can cover ground in a hurry and has a rifle for an arm. Also Cuyahoga Heights should be in top 5 without doubt.

hmm...thought maybe Fairless might be in the top ten in D2.... oh well hopefully they can prove themselves down the road.

The polls are determined by coaches calling emailing or texting in their information and or opinion on their own team and or teams in their division they are familiar with to assigned poll votes. The poll voters (2per district) then send in their information to the State Coaches Association who then compiles and creates the weekly poll. Teams that are left out typically didn't get exposure either by their coach or by other coaches in their division and or league. It's a shame how few coaches get involved not only for this but for the voting for all league, district and state. As a coach its part of the job you've accepted IMHO.

If I remember correctly Fairless was ranked #6 in the week #1 poll.....aren't they still undefeated?

Like I mentioned before, it's just another silly poll. Luckily we have the state championship to truly sort out who's the best. Or a more accurate "poll" is when the district seedings are announced and the elimination begins at the district level.

They are 13-0. I'm not gonna sit here and blow smoke though..... some of the competition isnt grade "A" either. Not saying they arent good teams, just not LV, and Keystone types, but then again Fairless may not be either. They are doing great right now, but we all know it'll come out in the wash when bracket play starts. If Fairless can fire on all cylinders during playoffs.... who knows what may happen. It's been a blast so far, can't wait to see if the girls can keep it up and finish strong.

I stand corrected. But I guess my point is, all 3 of those Licking County schools have a chance to be there June. Which would screw our first summer tournament up but what ya gonna do.

I hope it screws up the Dayton Metro for us. Would LOVE to be in Akron. We can go to Dayton on Sunday.
