Seeking high level ‘08 team for next year

My daughter has been playing 14u for the past 2 years with an ’06/‘07 team. Due to the fact that her current team will all be in high school next year we are considering making the switch to a strong/elite level ‘08 team. Primary spot is catching but solid at 3rd as well with potential at short (just hasn’t played there in a few years). Currently batting 3rd in the lineup with a .400 batting average.
We would like to catch games/visit practices over the next few weeks to get a feel for teams that she might want to try out for. We are located in the Akron area and our willingness to travel will be dependent upon the team we feel is the best fit. Not to knock your post but, you need a little more info. You will get contacts but mostly not the ones you are looking for....
Where are you located and how far are you willing to travel?
What type of team are you looking to tryout for? One with a national schedule, regional schedule or in state schedule?
What tournaments did your DD play in so far this season? any awards? I am guessing she played up the past couple years?

Most of your top / elite teams organizations don't work the way your post is structured. If they are interested they would have made the first move unless you played a lower tier schedule and never faced any of the top organizations then again you must make the first contact.

IMO, You need to contact the teams you are interested in playing for and ask if a posistion is open that your DD may be able to fill.
Generally your top organizations kind of know's what they have and what they may get come tryouts as they do have parent/player contact at tournaments throughout the summer.
