Central Catholic in Toledo had a nice senior night for their seniors, and then their Coach, Norm Kujawa recoginized our seniors by name and presented them each with a flower.

First Class coach Kujawa, it was appreciated by the Whitmer parents, players and coaches.

On behalf of CCHS softball, it was our pleasure Uber. We planned to do it anyway, but what made it really special was that my daughter was able to be there and present two of her former players with their flowers. She started them out as freshmen, then had her accident and had to quit coaching and teaching.

Every senior deserves recognition. IMHO, while the high school diploma may not be as valued as it once was, completing the high school experience is a major life accomplishment. I've seen too many young lives get knocked off course by bad decisions, bad experiences, and bad occurrences in high school. Anyone that finishes high school today should be celebrated.

I thought that was really cool that your DD was there. Both Molik and McVicker seemed thrilled to see her.

I gotta admit, I thought the "very classy" part was gonna be an irony. Lol, and i was looking forward to reading it. Lol

I am glad to hear that it really was a nice thing that was done for the girls.:)
