Shout out to Ohio Stars 04

Just want to give the Ohio Stars 04 a shout out. Fantastic job coming down to PCB and playing Jacksonville Storm 04 in the final USFA WS game. Parents/coaches... class act to rally your team down in the last inning for the comeback. Just a little update on our hurt player.....broken ankle. Again, our team is thankful for the well wishes from your parents. Hopefully the girls will get to meet at some future ASA/PGF event in the middle....I heard rematches are fun to watch.

Thanks for the kind words about our girls. I think we had three come from behind walk-off wins in bracket play. It was something to watch.

If you asked me to vote for one team that I've seen over the last few years (as a total outsider with no ties to them) who stands apart as a class act with a great culture from the dugout to the fans, that team would be the first one that immediately comes to mind.

Reading this stuff makes me proud to be a coach on the Ohio Starz 04, we try and teach or kids the right way not only on the field but as a human being off the field. Can't say enough about our parents/fans, that's where it all starts..

AC- it was a great game and came down to the very end, props to you guys for running through the other bracket playing game after game in the heat and your kids never let any of that bother them. Your team had us off balanced in the box all game and your defense couldn't say enough about them, your young ladies know how to get that leather on the ball. Good luck, great team and wish nothing but the best for the Jacksonville Storm..

Hope your player has a speedy recovery! Great game and sportsmanship by both sides. The pitcher you had on the mound was very impressive pitching and fielding her position. A lot of hard shots back at her and she kept her composure and fielded them. Very impressive young lady.

Congratulations Ohio Starz '04 on winning the 2017 USFA World Series!!! and may i add the rings they earned are AMAZING!!!
