2018 WHAC Tournament
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University softball team earned their second straight trip to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament following their 11-9 record in conference play. The Blue Devils earned the fifth-seed and face fourth-seed University of Northwestern Ohio at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6 at Pacesetter Park in Sylvania, Ohio.
Lawrence Tech (18-16, 11-9) split the season series with Northwestern Ohio, taking the first game 4-1 and falling in game two 4-1. The all-time series is tied at 2-2. This is the first meeting between the teams in the conference tournament. The Blue Devils are 0-2 all-time in the WHAC Tournament, falling in both games during their inaugural season.
