VALLEY CITY, N.D. – It took 404 pitches, 106 at-bats, and 3 hours, 27 minutes to determine the outcome of the North Star Softball Navy Bracket championship game between No. 6 seed Viterbo (Wis.) and No. 2 seed Bellevue (Neb.) Friday at VCSU Softball Complex. The Bruins earned a 3-2 14-inning marathon victory over the V-Hawks, securing a spot in the championship series Saturday.
