FAYETTE, Mo. – The Columbia College softball team was back in action this afternoon when they continued play in the 2018 NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round against the Central Methodist University Eagles in the championship game. The Cougars, who defeated CMU in their first game of the opening round, were able to beat the Eagles again by a final score of 9-0 to improve to 33-14 on the season and punch their ticket to the 38th Annual NAIA Softball World Series. The event is being held in Clermont, Florida May 25th-31st.
