TUCSON, Ariz. – No one would have believed that the Olivet Nazarene University softball team had started their day in the early, predawn hours in Illinois when they took the field in Arizona on Saturday, March 9 to face Park University (Mo.). The Tigers scored early, but the difference in the game was a three-run fourth inning highlighted by a leadoff home run off the bat of Miranda Southall (JR/Wilmington, Ill.). ONU held off a late Pirate's rally to take a 5-2 win to kick off spring break.
