BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Fifth-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.) eliminated eighth-seeded Kentucky Christian by the score of 12-9 in Mid-South Conference Tournament at Michael O. Buchanon Park.
The two teams combined to tally 27 hits and 21 runs in the contest. The Phoenix racked up 11 hits in the win and took advantage of four Kentucky Christian errors. Kayley Caplinger, Kaylee Luckett, and Madison Woodruff led Cumberland (26-21) with two RBI's apiece. Tyra Graham scored three runs from the leadoff spot despite not tallying a hit.
