WAYNE, NEB. – The St. Cloud State University softball team did not have the easiest start to the 2019 season. The Huskies faced two of the projected top teams in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) to open the season and were looking for their first conference wins of the year Monday afternoon at Wayne State College. Win was exactly what St. Cloud State did, as the team unleashed for 25 runs in 13 innings of play, taking game one 13-5 in six innings before winning game two by a final score of 12-5.
