Here is the Answer to the above Softball History Quiz:

Historians believe the first windmill pitch was thrown in a Detroit league by Mike Lutomski in 1922.

The pitch was ruled iilegal by Hubert John, the unofficial city rules guru.

However so many pitchers adapted the pitch that Johnson reversed his decision and declared the windmill delivery legal in 1926.
