[Softball] NAIA Releases Softball Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The NAIA released its postseason honors for the sport of softball with 47 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) players honored. Aquinas junior Briana Mairose was named to the All-America Third Team by the NAIA All-America committee.
On the academic side, 46 WHAC players earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes honors. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
