SANTEE, Calif. — The first home conference games for the Hawks didn't go as planned.
Hope International defeated the SDC softball team 20-0 in Game 1 and 13-0 in Game 2.
The losses drops the Hawks to 0-4 in conference and 9-11 overall. The Royals improved to 20-2 on the season and 2-0 in the GSAC.
During the game the NAIA released the Top 25 Poll and the Royals were named No. 20 in the nation.
The Hawks garnered just eight hits total in the two games. Kayla Mack went 3-4 with two doubles.
SDC will travel to face William Jessup on Friday and Menlo on Saturday.
