2018 all-CCAC Softball Team

Christina Pembrook was named first team all-CCAC and Julie Trellicoso and Morgan Krieger were both named to the second team as the conference announced its postseason softball awards at the conference tournament Thursday night.

Entering the CCAC Tournament, Pembrook has collected 50 hits in 138 at bats for a team-leading .362 batting average. Eighteen of those hits have gone for extra bases, including four triples and three home runs. She has 16 multi-hit games, including five three-hit games this season. The junior from Naperville, Ill., leads the team with 28 runs scored and is second with 22 RBIs. She has posted a .565 slugging percentage and a .396 on-base percentage, while stealing 15 bases.

Pembrook has also done it in the circle, going 9-6 with a 2.07 ERA and a pair of saves. She has struck out 55 over a team-high 111 2/3 innings.

Trellicoso was named to the all-conference team for the third time in her SAU career. She earned first team honors last season and was on the second team in 2016.

The senior right-fielder from Chicago, Ill., is batting .324 with 18 runs scored and 10 RBIs. She has 12 multi-hit games this season.

The lead-off hitter set the SAU career record for stolen bases when she swiped her 70th base of the year in a win over Trinity Christian on Mar. 30. She has stolen a team-best 23 bases this season, giving her 81 in her four-year Bee career.

Krieger is also now a three-time all-conference selection after earning first team recognition in each of the last two years.

Krieger, the 2016 CCAC Freshman of the Year, is second on the team with both a .336 batting average and 44 hits. She leads the team with 13 doubles to go along with two doubles and two home runs. She also has driven in a team-best 27 runs.

The junior corner infielder from Plainfield, Ill., has been hot down the stretch, batting .447 (17-of-38) over the last 13 games.
