MOUNT VERNON – Cornell rode a two-hit shutout from ace Haley Harmon (SR/Becker, Minn.) in Sunday's 2-0 Game 1 win, although Monmouth rallied to take the nightcap, 8-7, in the Midwest Conference opener for both teams at Mount Vernon Softball Complex.
