Thomasville, Georgia-First year head coach Mario "Manny" Perez and the Lady Tiger softball team opened the 2019 season on Tuesday afternoon with a road doubleheader against the Night Hawks of Thomas University at Armory Field. Edward Waters scored first in both contests, but could not make the lead stand up as they fell 4-1 in Game One, and 9-1 in Game Two.
