COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 6-ranked Lindsey Wilson softball team hosts West Virginia Tech on Tuesday afternoon at Noon CT at Marilyn D. Sparks Park.
The Blue Raiders (34-2, 15-1 MSC) return to action after taking the weekend series over Shawnee State (Ohio) 3-1.
As a team, Lindsey Wilson is batting .358 with 243 RBIs this season. The Blue Raider ranks second in the NAIA in home runs per game averaging 1.5 home runs for a total of 56. Lindsey Wilson bullpen is shutting down opponents with a combined 1.45 earned run average and holding opposing batters to a .189 batting average.
Callum Pilgrim and Makea-Al Kaluau continue to lead the Blue Raiders offense with both student-athletes averaging a batting average over .400. Pilgrim leads the team in stolen bases with 30 bases, while Kaluau leads the team in RBIs with 43.
Annabelle Ramirez continues her strong pitching boasting a .59 earned run average – the best in the MSC -- on 70.2 innings of work with 102 strikeouts. Ramirez is holding opposing batters to a .113 batting average.
