NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 Poll
COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson softball team remains No. 8 in the NAIA Softball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, announced by officials on Tuesday afternoon.
No.8- ranked Lindsey Wilson (19-1) tallied 424 voting points and one first place vote.
Science and Arts (Okla.) claims the top spot with a 25-0 record and earning 529 voting points and 18 first place votes. Oklahoma City remains at No.2 with 497 voting points. Southern Oregon remains at third with 494 voting points. Georgia Gwinnett stays at the No. 4 spot with 468 voting points, while Marian (Ind.) claims the fifth spot with 466 voting points.
Lindsey Wilson is joined by one Mid-South Conference school in Campbellsville (Ky.), who jumped three spots to No.13 with 300 voting points.
The Lindsey Wilson softball team is back in action this weekend, with matchups against Pikeville (Ky.) scheduled for Friday- Saturday March 29-30. Friday's matchup begins at 2 p.m. CT while Saturday's matchup begins at Noon CT.
