Hosting its second indoor Winter Dome Tournament in as many weekends, St. Ambrose won 3-of-4 games. The Bees split a pair of games Saturday before sweeping both games Sunday to move to 6-4 on the season.

Mount Mercy 6, St. Ambrose 2 - box score
Mount Mercy scored two runs in the top of the first and added two more in the third and a pair in the fourth in defeating St. Ambrose 6-2 Saturday morning. The Bees managed just six hits, which included doubles from Sophia Delgado and Olivia Haas. Down 6-0, SAU got on the board in the fifth. Olivia McClintock and Colleen Barrett had RBI singles to cut the deficit to 6-2. Ella Specht took the loss after allowing four runs over 2 2/3 innings. Jane Thomas allowed two unearned runs in her 4 1/3 innings in relief.

St. Ambrose 11, Stephens 3 (6 inn.) - box score
Six different Bees had multi-hit games as St. Ambrose defeated Stephens College 11-3 in six innings Saturday afternoon. Logan Frerichs, Colleen Barrett, Libby Munsterman and Erica Ralfs each had three hits, and Olivia Haas and Tara Lance each had two-hit games as part of the 18-hit attack. Ralfs, who drove in five runs, had a two-run single in the first inning. That came on the heels of Frerichs' RBI single to help the Bees to a fast 3-0 lead. Frerichs and Ralfs each ripped an RBI triple as part of a four-run second inning. Barrett also drove in a run in the inning. Stephens got three runs back in the third, but RBIs from Munsterman and Ralfs in the fourth and Kaitlyn Sandora in the sixth sealed the win. Ralfs also earned the win with three innings of work. Jane Thomas and Ella Specht combined for three scoreless innings of relief.

St. Ambrose 9, Stephens 1 (5 inn.) - box score
Jane Thomas allowed just four hits and one run over four innings to earn the win as St. Ambrose defeated Stephens for the second time over the weekend. Trailing 1-0, the Bees would give Thomas all the support she would need in the second inning. Kayla Stenger and Kaitlyn Sandora had RBI's during the five-run outburst that featured six hits. Sandora drove in another run in the third with a two-out single to score Emma Gorden, who singled and stole second earlier in the frame. SAU polished off the win in the fourth. Erica Ralfs and Sohpia Delgado had run-scoring triples and Jazzy Bowman had an RBI-double to push the lead to 9-1. Ella Specht retired all three batters she faced in a perfect fifth inning.

St. Ambrose 1, Lincoln 0 - box score
Erica Ralfs and Ella Specht combined on a three-hit shutout as St. Ambrose wrapped up the weekend with a 1-0 win over Lincoln. Ralfs surrendered just one hit while striking out four over five frames before Specht allowed two hits over the final two innings. The Bees managed six total hits, two coming off the bat of Kayla Stenger. It was her first hit that proved to be the difference. Olivia Haas had a two-out single in the second before Stenger followed with a double to plate the only run. Ralfs worked out of a jam in the third, stranding runners on the corners. Specht got out of a jam herself in the seventh as Lincoln loaded the bases before Specht got a ground ball to end the game.

The Bees will play two more in the Ambrose Dome next Friday. St. Ambrose will host Bemidji State at 11 a.m. before playing the College of Saint Mary at 1 p.m.
