COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson softball team hosts Shawnee State (Ohio) on Friday and Saturday, April 12-13 at Marilyn D. Sparks Park.
Lindsey Wilson softball program honors four seniors in Samantha Luckett, Lauren Lett, Callum Pilgrim, and Amber Hancock on Saturday for their accomplishments and contributions to the program.
The No.6-ranked Blue Raiders (31-1, 12-0 MSC) return to action after defeating Ohio Christian in a two-game sweep 11-0 and 13-0 on Wednesday afternoon.
As a team, the Blue Raiders are batting .361 with 47 home runs and 217 RBIs. The Blue Raiders are taking advantage of free bases, stealing 50-of-55 bases this season. Lindsey Wilson bullpen is bolstering a 1.35 earned run average on 206.2 innings pitched while striking out 198 opposing batters.
Callum Pilgrim continues to lead the Blue Raider offense batting .495 with nine home runs and 33 RBIs. Pilgrim is moving the bases for Lindsey Wilson stealing 26-of-28 bases this season. Makea-Al Kaluau adds in with a .465 batting average with 10 home runs and 39 RBIs.
The pitching duo of Annabelle Ramirez and Hannah Epperson continue to shut down opposing offenses. Ramirez is maintaining a .55 earned run average on 63.2 innings pitched while striking out 92 batters and only giving up seven runs. Epperson coming off her tenth win of the season holds a .76 earned run average while striking out 56 opposing batters.
