ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Lyon College softball player Riley Shaw has been named the American Midwest Conference Softball Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday. This is Shaw's first career conference player of the week award.
Shaw batted .833 (5-for-6) in the team's two games against Stephens College last week. She also totaled four runs scored, two doubles, one triple, one home run and five RBIs. Her home run came in the first inning of the first game against the Stars as teammate Addison Harmon hit a long ball of her own right after.
