DAYTON, Tenn. – It was a tale of two games in Friday's Appalachian Athletic Conference meeting between Bryan College softball and visiting Point University (Ga.). In game one, each team could only scrape up four hits apiece while the Lions' lone run tallied in the first inning was all it took for the victory. After Bryan's narrow 1-0 triumph in the defensive showdown, the Skyhawks responded in a powerful offensive display for the 10-0 win through five innings of game two. At the end of the day, the split lifted Bryan's overall record to 10-22 and AAC record to 7-11 while Point moved to 17-15 overall and 10-8 in conference play.
