OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – A home run off of the bat of Emily Carstens (SR/Peotone, Ill.) in the third inning ended up being the game-winning hit to lift the Olivet Nazarene University softball team to a win in their first game of the NAIA National Championship Opening Round on Monday, May 13. Carstens also picked up the win in the circle for the Tigers, her 27th win on the season, going the distance for the 4-2 win over Morningside College. Sara Beers (SO/Greenwood, Ind. ) added three hits for the offense.
