Rosemont, Ill. – On the third and final day of the NAIA Leadoff Tournament, the Tigers suffered their first loss in a game against Madonna University. In a low-scoring affair, Madonna's two runs in the second inning would prove to be enough to win them the game. The Tigers offense was stagnant for most of the game, only managing to score one run in the sixth inning, when Alli Davis (JR/Mount Zion, Ill. ) hit a triple to allow Kate Landis (SO/Beecher, Ill.) to score.
