Tucson, Az. – The Tigers were able to claim two more wins in their second day of competition in Arizona. In the first game, the Tigers offense was firing on all cylinders, with 10 hits leading to five runs. Alli Davis and Kelly Rinker would lead the offensive charge for the team, each scoring a run. After giving up two runs in the third inning, Kori Fricke would take to the mound and silence Northwestern's offensive attack, and hold them scoreless for the remainder of the game. With a flurry of runs in the fifth inning, the Tigers would assume control of the game and maintain that position until the final out.
