Spartans Take One From No. 4 CNU Behind Hirn's Big Day

YORK, Pa. – The York College softball team took one out of two from Christopher Newport University on Friday evening, erasing a 7-0 deficit to win the first game 8-7, before dropping the nightcap 8-1 at Spartan Softball Stadium in Capital Athletic Conference action. Haley Hirn went 5-for-5 on the day as the Spartans earned just their second win all-time against the Captains.
