I have been known to forget things at the field from time to time (been thru 3-4 dryerase boards this season alone). Everyone on the team now sweeps the area for what im forgetting.
We played at the BEST of the Best last weekend in Loudonville and i brought our teams new helmets, bat packs, pants, pullovers, etc to pass out along with the team banner/profiles. I had leftovers and everything was in a big cardboard box that i, of course left at the field. I received a call Monday morning saying it was found and secured in Loudonville, 3 hours away by park maintenance. I called Chuck with the Wolfpack and he set in motion thru out the week a fire bucket brigade with the box from Loudonville, making many exchanges on the way , ending at Pickerington this weekend where i retrieved it at the Stingrays tourney. These guys didnt have to put themselves out and do this but they did, and many thanks go out to them...
