A hardy group of 20 student-athletes from St. Cloud State University braved the 10 degree temps and the icy waters of Pleasant Lake to participate in this year's Polar Plunge. This annual event helps raise money for Special Olympics and the SCSU Student Athlete Advisory Council combined with the Granite City Rocks (a local Special Olympics team) to raise over $7500 this year.
