Stingrays Fall Showcase was great!! How did you do?

Lee- great post and losing 5-0 to that Stunners team isn't bad at all. That stunners team with several former L Sluggers players was LOADED .

Pretty sure they had 2 teams there, '00 and '99.

outlaw coaches/ parents make a lot of excuses .......

What excuse was given by any Outlaw coach or parent. I have yet to hear one. I am a coach on that team and can tell you for a fact we play to win. I don't like to lose never have, have always been a very competitive person. Lee and my self go a long way back. Either competition against one another or playing on the same team. While Chris works his charms on college coaches the other coaches including my self work to make us as competitive as possible. Do we move kids into different positions if a college coach requests it? Yes we do. Do we dido our best to win every outing .... you bet your a$$ we do that also.
We have a system on our team that allows us as individual coaches to play to our strengths. Mine is a game coach Chris is a good coach but a better recruiter than I am so he covers that area. We don't makes excuses if we loose we learn from it and grow and play better the next time around. And as you stated 3-1 and 1 may not be excellent but it got us a ton of looks and communication from colleges.
The only game we lost was to the same stunners team that beat lee. They were a great team and defiantly stacked.
I will place my girls in any tournament against any opponent at any time and play to win. They work to hard not to be allowed to play at their highest level. We have lost 3 games this fall to some of the best teams around. 2 to the bandits and one to the Stunners. In my opinion we as a team have nothing to hang our heads about. And we as team will work to get better every weekend.

When it's a showcase who cares on how a team did. If Coach Pat wants to see little Suzi play 3rd and she's never played 3rd before....it's going to affect the game. Maybe Coach Pat wanted to put her in a position she wasn't comfortable in to see how she would react.

So you want to know how Hitter23's team did? My dd plays for him and apparently well enough to blow up our parent emails with college invites to camps. Why? Because he was working his tail off talking to those coaches instead of standing on 3rd base trying to win a game. Isn't that what a showcase is about?

Lee your a very humble man... The Stunners 99 team is very solid no shame in dropping one to them... But kuddo's to your youngsters for going 4-1 on the weekend against some great 16 & 18u teams!

The last team my daughter played for was Lasers Red, if that answers your question. Now she doesn't play for anybody. She hung up her cleats.

hey hitter this boulderdad is the only one out of your camp that has made a post on this topic that makes any good sense and he did it with class and respect you should step down and give the head coaching job to a guy who has some class and can deal with tough finger pointing or brash comments .

Really? I mean really? An excuse? Since these coaches came onboard, I'm getting at least four emails on Monday/Tuesday a week from different colleges about camps. And before you go off about another Outlaw thing, they did this with another organization as well. I sent my dd's best friend to them BECAUSE OF HIS ABILITY TO TALK TO COACHES! This isn't an opinion, but a fact, jack (had to add a Si-ism to this) LOL
