The StonersvilleFlames 16U Black Team based out of Reading, PA is looking for 1 more player toround out there 2016/2017 Travel Team. Weare looking for a utility infield/outfield player or a player with catchingexperience.A private tryout for potentiallyinterested players can be arranged using the contact information below.

The Stonersville Flames 16U Black Team is returning their coreteam from the 2016 season which included two tournament wins and a 5[SUP]th[/SUP]place finish at Pony Nationals.Our team is interested in adding talentedand athletic fastpitch softball player to enhance our current base of core playersideally with 2000 or 2001 birthdays (talented girls with 02 birthdays will beconsidered if looking to move up to 16U early). We are looking for a player with the passion for softball, the drive toplay in both practice and games, and is always a good teammate.We are also looking for good parents, whichtruly understand that the interest of a team, always supersedes the interest ofindividual players.Parents must also bewilling to lend a hand at tournaments the Stonersville Flames host, which serveas fundraisers to keep team and organizational costs down.

Our team will play in several roundrobins in the Fall of 2016 and 1-2 tournaments. For the 2017 Season the team will look to mainly compete at USSSA, ASA,and Pony sanctioned tournaments, participate in either USSSA or PonyNationals/World Series, and participate in 1-2 college showcase tournaments tofurther the process of seeking additional exposure for our players looking tocompete and play softball beyond high school.Additionally, at least 2-3 overnight stays for tournaments will likelybe required as part of this planned travel schedule.
