A special thanks to Peggy Horwatt for her dedication to the Sunraze pitchers! Peg has done a great job helping many of our young pitchers this off season. She has also taken some of the older ones to a different level and a style that has helped them develop into well rounded pitchers...

Hitting clinics continue as well the girls are having a blast. Had 30-plus girls come out!

I have been around ALL of the lessons and actually she has players from seven organizations attending at this time and has a very good hourly rate.
I personally appreciate the fact NO LESSON has more then four girls at a time and Peg completely breaks down the mechanics from the feet up. The interaction with the girls are constant. Peg teaches to finish similar to the "Hillhouse" method and I seen a pitcher that was currently going to another instructor with different method for over a year and was able to pick the style up within three lessons and increased her speed by at least 5 or more mph.
Peg offers her first couple of lessons free of charge so the player and family can decide if it could be a fit. ( I have not seen one girl to date leave her after trying her as an instructor).
Peg also offers speed and agility training to all pitchers.
All I can say is try it, but I will say before you do be ready to make a move from your current instructor

My DD is looking for a quality pitching coach with experience in the NE ohio area. Are you aware of any girls that peg oversees that have actually won anything? Currently im looking to base my decision on proven results and would like some feedback.

Peg has many and I can get you her contact info so you can speak to her one on one.,another pitching coach in this area is Steve Bykowski. I have spent time with both and they are both really good for young ones breaking into pitching. I like being familiar with them both because they both teach completely different styles.
What might be right for one may not be right for the other.
