You have this story and you are reminded of how precious life is. You are reminded that softball is filled with inspiring stories about individuals who persevere and dedicate themselves toward a goal, no matter how tough it can get. True stories like this, so close to home, couldn't have come at a better time on this website forum, just a week after reading and watching that horrible and disgusting "the coach, the pitcher, the catcher and the umpire" fiasco.
thanks for posting strohbro, and thanks for the inspiration, TARA. I am now a Hoosier softball fan.

She has been a good role model for all of the younger Lebanon players for years. This accident only shows what hard work and dedication can overcome. I am very proud to have my dd part of the great tradition of a fantastic softball family in a small town community of Lebanon. The High School coaches are fantastic and start grooming the ladies at very young ages to get them to high school hitting the ground running. Congrats to Tara and all the other Lebanon Warriors headed to college ball.
