Team Banner Idea's

It's that time of the year again for our team. Team banner time.

Every year we travel to Ohio we see some AWESOME team banner's from multiple teams. Last year at the Valley Extreme Tourney we saw an older team (14U maybe?) that had a banner with the girls standing with a badazz look with lighting behind them, names down the side and sponsors also I believe. That banner really stuck out.

Ours has always been kinda......;&.......ya know? A few of us were given the task to look up manufacturers on our own for this year. So, I thought why not check here!

What I'm looking for:

-Contact info for dealers
-Websites
-Personal history and recommendations
-PICTURES of your banners!
-We really like the team picture on the banner idea



As usual, any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I made the Banner for my DD's team last season. My wife took the photo and I did the artwork and jpeg production. I used Roxio Photosuite to do the production. As far as the Banner production itself, you just have to shop around. i have been involved with a couple of these. One was rediculously expensive, (in the 100's of $$), and this one was quite resonable. You just have to shop around for Banner Companies. Let me warn you, do it locally, so you have a brick and mortar shop to go to and someone to look in the face. You will be happy you did. Yeah there are some really cool and creative banners out there. Photographers can do some cool stuff.

shindigz.com has very competetive banner printing prices. You can put your own artwork on the banner - - I've only done ones for our booster club, so really not sure how the team banners would fit - but they are good quality printing for a good price.

I've never done this but was thinking about it this year. Does anyone have a request form they use to ask for sponsorships? And like I said I've never done this but I would think if you got it done locally you might be able to get the banner for free if you have the sign people do it as their sponsorship. At least that is what I'm going to ask.

The banner you saw was from Thunder Elite's 14u team. I agree, that was really cool. Get on their website for a contact person maybe. Pier Grapics in Hubbard, OH does a great job also.

Our team does sponsor ships too. The way ours works is we accept money up to certain amounts. I can send you a copy of the letter if it helps?

I have seen many of the banners around the fields, if you are looking for someone to print the banners please send me a PM. I do not do the design work but I can print whatever you are looking for. I have been in the business for quite some time and can offer you some good pricing and turn times. I am located in the Cleveland OH area and can ship anywhere. This will be my DD last summer of ball before she is off to college so I know how expensive things can be for teams. If I can be of help and save a team a few dollars I will do what I can.
