Aaron Hall

Aaron Hall is back for his sixth year at the Batter?s Box to teach both baseball and softball instruction. He has over 15 years of professional instructing experience and has competed at the highest collegiate levels in some of the most elite conferences in NCAA Division I baseball including North Carolina State (ACC) and Xavier University (Atlantic 10) as well as NJCAA baseball powerhouse Louisburg College. His experience and abilities were evident as he started every position in college except for pitcher yet he did make an appearance.

Aaron is married to Erin Hall (local teacher) with three beautiful children and soon to be fourth. His passion and pride is very evident in helping youth players reach their potential and shows as he has worked with the local youth with Licking Heights Youth Association and has coached or assisted in both fast-pitch and basketball.

Prior to college, Aaron attended Portsmouth West High School in West Portsmouth, OH where he lettered in 3 sports. He was named All Conference six times and Player of the Year twice in two sports. Aaron credits most of his early fundamental education on two of Ohio High Schools Hall of Fame baseball coaches (Dean Schuler and Dennis Haggerty) of Lucasville Valley and McDermott Northwest High Schools respectively. They laid the foundation acumen and showed Aaron the passion for the sport that he still has today.

Aaron has played with notable superstar MLB All-Stars Pat Burrell and Brian Roberts. Annually, he works with Cy Young Award winner Brandon Webb on formulating drills, the agenda, and instruction for his camp. Aaron has the unique ability to explain complex techniques into simple and easy to understand terminology that kids comprehend. He believes the gift of three beautiful young girls help him provide a more natural and comfortable atmosphere for his female students. Aaron has played fast pitch softball himself for the past 8 years and provides a unique appreciation and perspective that many male coaches can not relate to.
