The Outfield

dd was our best SS in high school, but our high school coach played her in CF for the same reasons as coach TEA and others posted. She got us into the Regionals by taking aways hits in CF. Saturday she signed as an OF in college. Sam is right, colleges are looking for speed in the outfield and having trouble finding it. Sam she is still ticked she didn't rob you of that hit in Shreve to win the game.

We played a team last weekend that had a stud centerfielder. We are a pretty big hitting team and she robbed us of atleast 7-8 hits by making absolutely awesome catches. If we had to hand out an MVP ribbon, she would have gotten it hands down. Every girl on my team will remember her if we ever see her on the field again and will try to keep the ball as far away from her as we can.
