Thia Coach Doesn't Pick His/Her's Players

Posted on another forum: "The Organizations board holds the tryouts and picks the teams. Then the players are introduced to the coaching staff. The coaching staff has no part in the decision.:

Left the team name out. Is it just me or is that an odd way to do it? You coaches out there, would you work in an organization like that?

I can't picture it.

OH! Didn't know they were talking about the NPF Racers. Me bad. That's a different story. The thread was talking about kids and I didn't catch that turn.

Can't say I follow the Racers, if it was them, how did the process described help or hurt them? How good were they?
