I would like to say thanks to Jeff Steiner and his awesome field crew for a spectacular tournament. The fields were probably the nicest we have played on this year and all the shade was great, although some sun would have been nice on saturday. Hope to see some of your Thunder Elite teams down our way soon.

Pool Play
Danger over Grand Slam - This is an exceptionally oiled 12u team. They are ranked at the top for a reason. The players, coaches and parents are doing this for all the right reasons. Very classy people. Goodluck to you at Nationals. I am positive you will do well.

Danger over Diamond Chix Blue - Another fine team, coaches and parents. Very nice group as well. Goodluck to you at Nationals as well as I am sure you will do well also.

Thunder Elite over Danger in the 7th inning - Great team and coaches as well. As their coach mentioned to me, it would be great to play each other all the time. Very nice team, coaches and parents. I wish you guys the best at Nationals as well. I am sure you will do fine. Congratulations on the Tournament Championship. Tell the girls that Danger said congrats.

Bracket Play
Ohio Bl;ast over Danger - Blast is a very nice team as well. I know their pool play record was not the same team we played in bracket play. I wish we would of played our A game as well but you guys deserved the win. You came ready to play and we did not show up until the last inning. Very nice job and goodluck to you all at Nationals as well. Very polite team, coaches and parents. Goodluck to you all. Nice job.

Again, I must say that this was an excellent tourney and any team there could have won it. All very equal in my opinion. Great place to play and hats off to Jeff and crew for a fine tuned field prep and field of teams. Ohio Danger 13u does plan on coming back next year. Excellent job and we are looking forward to it.

Thanks for the comments. Was nice to meet you and your Ohio Danger team. You have a very competitive 13u squad. I am sure you will make some noise in Toledo at USSSA Nats.

The field crew at the liberty fields do a great job dragging and lining the fields before every game. The little things like raking out the box and filling in the pitching ruts go a long way over the course of a tournament. Thanks Brett,Bob and your crew.
