Please join us for the Legendary Tune-up and that successful Midwest College Showcase the weekend of June 11-13th. 2010 http://www.sgsfastpitch.org/tune-up.html

The Midwest showcase is a two part event: 1. data collection in the morning of skills
2. showcase games in the evening ALL at one low price. The college coaches gave us great feedback last year. We recruit 400 midwest colleges from D-1 to JUCO, all to try to hook up players in this area with potential opportunities

You need to change the format of the Showcase. It was horrible and not worth the money the way it was run and scheduled.

sorry you didn't enjoy the format. College coaches are what we are trying to please, and they liked the format, but wanted a couple of things changed, mostly the running and hitting format in the morning, and we will change it. The games at night got every player at least 3 inning at their primary position, and also innings at their secondary, so not sure what we'd change there to be honest.

As for the money, the cost is less then what most charge for one session, we do both, provide the colleges with the data PRIOR to the games. We appreciate the comments, it will make us get better in areas needed.

LEH,

You know I'll be there, blue cup in hand. I think all of our teams are sitting pretty good this year, but you know Patti will get the most out of her players regardless. Look forward to seeing everyone on the diamonds (code for "I hate this weather").

A-train

We usually stay one night each weekend when we play in Toledo. Depending on what time the morning games fall. Saturday nights are usually our best bet to stay up there.
The hotels we stay at the most is right off exit 59 (turnpike) on Reynolds road in Maumee. There we like to stay at two different places.
Hampton Inn is a very nice hotel with an indoor/outdoor pool with a HUGE morning breakfast. Nice size lobby to sit in for breakfast and computer use. Usually around $89 a night with AAA.
Other on the same exit off Dussels road is the Days Inn, right across the Premier Volleyball Academy building. It is decent (small breakfast) around $50 a night. Good thing about there is for 9 bucks a person you can purchase water passes for the water park at the Holiday Inn across the parking lot.
There is also a nice Comfort Inn across from the Hampton. I know there are about 4 more hotels there of Dussels road (Super 8, Country Inn, 2 others). Of course tons of restraunts in that area.
This is the area real close to the Rolf Park fields.
Big as the Tune-up is who knows which fields we might be at (Rolf, LCRC, CYO or Homecoming park).

We will haft to hook up one of those days for sure! Tell Alex good luck this weekend at her JO volleyball tournament. We will actually be up there in Maumee for our tournament and staying at the Days Inn.

3dm

Looking foward to seeing ya again and watching your teams play some ball. Question is what exactly is in that blue cup of yours????? LOL.
Get ready for another storm starting tomorrow.

Everything's listed now ~ teams, pools and schedules. Where's the chatter? Us PA teams are trying to get some info about the OH teams we'll be seeing or what the tournament's like. Let's hear it. Who are the teams to beat?
