Jessica Mendoza, former softball pitcher, does a story about pitching injuries. Its from a LL perspective. The question is anyone have data on how this relates to fastpitch? Some Google searches find a number of articles specific to fastpitch. With no pitching counts like in baseball is there a hidden danger to girls? We have all heard that the "windmill" motion is safer than overhand. However after researching there is more medical professionals saying its is just as impactful to growth plates and elbows.
Any one have experience with this? From a softball perspective.
