We alway hear about the Lasers, Hawks, OutLaws, stingrays and many other top notch programs in the state of Ohio.

If you had to name a unknown Team or program that a very stuff team to beat or organization that never in the spotlight.

Who would you consider to be one of these Teams and Organizations?

Not sure if any of these teams are around anymore but back 10 years or so MC Hammers we’re a very solid team at 16u. Same with GC nightmare, Vipers out of Dayton and the slammers here in SW Ohio at 14. I think what happens is a lot of these smaller teams/organizations is parents look to jump to other bigger name teams not because of talent but because organization name recognition can get their kid in front of more coaches at more prestigious events/tournaments.

If we’re talking old original programs I believe the Road Runners program started by Rick Sherman.

Rick help a ton of girls get to the next level. Big void in Southern Ohio once he retired.

Ohio Storm

Storm has quietly build solid teams and always play top shelf. Great coaches and class acts. Marc Fiorilli (Storm 02) Great coach and TD director, Chad Christopher (Storm 03) Great coach, Jason Jones (Storm 06) great coach. Several others.

Thunder Elite, build some good competitive teams. Seems like they are competitive from 10U to 18U.
