This was a very nice tourney last year. Did a great job on the fields in between games, watered them down and re-lined. Very nice park, water park for the viewers also that are not playing. Jon puts on a very nice tournament and the format this year looks to make it that much more appealing. I would recommend this tourney to anyone, it was a great time last year. The fences are also great for the players as they do get to take the trot of fame every now and then. Great place to play. Goodluck this year Jon Allison, Jeff Leach and the rest of the Lunachix teams.

Just a side note, UrbanaFan... I noticed on another thread that you volunteered to be a NAFA TD for Ohio. Why not use this 2009 tourney as a NAFA national qualifier? It might really increase the visibility of your tourney, and lead more teams to give it a stronger look. ;-)

the NAFA person never got back with me so i am going with the format that worked last year. We had a great responce and the girls and parents had a good time. Also the city of Urbana is giving me passes to give to all of the girls in the tournament so they can goto the city pool located in the same park where the tournament is.

I have a question about the 2010 qualifier that maybe only OQM can answer. If for example a 12U '96 or a 14U '94 team gets the bid this year does that bid follow the teams as a 14U and 16U bid for 2010 or does the bid stay in the age group and get passed to the organizations next year's teams that didn't earn them. What about mixed teams?
