West Virginia Dusters Loss

I learned yesterday that Steve Hall, coach of the West Virginia Dusters passed away last Saturday.

I didn't know Steve personally but had interacted with him via email as TD of the GAPSS tournament. He seemed to be a very nice person and someone who was really trying to help the girls on his team get into college through softball - despite the financial hardships in their region.

Thoughts and prayers to the Dusters and Steve's family.

Thank you. Steve was a great ambassador for fastpitch in our area. He will definitely be missed not only as a coach and mentor, but also as a very good friend. His organization has helped over 100 girls get to college. It was a rough week here in Huntington and throughout the area.
