We are wanting to become a non profitable team. How much will it cost.?

I think JoeA or Bear may be able to help you. I do know that it takes a lot of organization, paperwork and a nominal fee.

You will need to get an attorney unless you are able to comb thru the stacks of paperwork or have the time to go thru the stacks.
The attorney will most likely cost between $200.00 - $500.00.

You will also pay the IRS fee of approx. $300.00 - $500.00 plus the state fee of $300.00 - $500.00.

I would say have $1500.00 on hand to make sure you can take care of everything.
