What is the norm?

What would be normal/reasonable for team fees? ?I heard of some organizations charging up to $800.00. ?Does this sound right?

In the our area, the norm would be around $300-500.00. ? $800.00 seems a bit much. ?

We are from a smaller community, central ohio.....we charge $300 and do a lot of fundraising.

Might also depend on the age group. 16U and 18U teams may be attending more college showcase tournaments that are more expensive or involve more travel.

I think $400 - $600, exclusive of travel costs.

Up to 700.00 but no fund raising with that amount.

I have seen a wide range in the fees that are being charged.
Most parents are satisfied as long as they know where and how the money was spent.
I was very disappointed with the organization that we were involved with last year in not doing just that.

Maybe for another post, but I am curious as to which organizations are in the habit of giving a complete breakdown to each team member.

My dd team, $550. We did go to a tryout where the fee was $800. Both teams offered breakdowns to where the money went last year.
