From the Colorado Rockies at the 2007 Colorado Fireworks Tournament...Playing quality softball in front of numerous college scouts the Ohio Ice Black 16-U team is having the time of their lives..Playing in this venue and enjoying this part of the country has been an awesome experience for the entire team!!! Wed. and Thurs. two day pool results:

Ohio Ice Black-0 vs. Team North Florida-2.....great game! Ice Black out-hit opponent to no avail.
Ohio Ice Black-8 vs. Texas No Limit-0 ( four innings)....Good old-fashion Ohio "mashing the ball"!!
Ohio Ice Black-11 vs. NE Echoes-0 ( three innings).Ice Black has a lot of coaches taking notes!!
Ohio Ice Black-6 vs. Georgia Little Trouble-6 (tie)...Great game..opponent had bases loaded no outs in the last inning, only scored one to tie!!

The next game ( starts double-elimination games) for Ohio Ice Black 16-U which will be Friday night!!!

On to White Water Rafting!!!!!

I heard that the Heat went 1-2 in pool play. They have played well, but came up a little short.

U18 Cincy Storm win both games today (friday)
3-2 win over So Cal After Shock -Telarroja
and
win over St. Louis Legion of Doom (not sure the score)


Saturday update.... storm loses two and is eliminated.
great tournament girls... way to make cincy proud.

From Rocky Mountain High....Ohio Ice Black 16-U played in front of a huge gallery of colleges at the Colorado Fireworks Tournament...The Ice Black girls upset the Texas Schutt Avengers 1-0...The Schutt team must have had girls being targeted by numerous major universities as the stands were literally packed at the main complex (8:00pm game) !!! Next game...Ohio Ice Black, now moves to the next game vs California O.C. Dynasty... Unfortuntely game time is at 7:30 AM ( early!!) as O.C is said to be another powerhouse...This tournament is the place to be!!!!What do you think Joe A....??? Give me some love!!
